Our Football CCA

Character building and leadership development are key priorities in our Football CCA where the importance of values, teamwork and leadership are emphasised. All our passionate young footballers seek to strive for sporting excellence by adopting a mindset of resilience and learning to put team success before personal accolades.

Our outcomes are possible through a robust support structure from the school to allow all footballers to develop and strengthen not only their football skills but their character and leadership abilities as well.

Our Signature Programmes and Activities

Unleash The Roar! (UTR!) at Bendemeer Secondary School

In partnership with SportSG, Football Association of Singapore (FAS), and Physical, Sports and Outdoor Education Branch (PSOEB) in the Ministry of Education, the Football CCA in Bendemeer Secondary School is dedicated to the holistic development of young footballers as one of the School Football Academies (SFAs) under the Unleash The Roar! (UTR!) initiative. This initiative is designed to integrate both academic and sporting excellence, ensuring that students thrive in both areas.

As a SFA, support to the students in the Football CCA extends to the following areas:

Well-planned training sessions throughout the year
Deployment of highly qualified and specialists coaches for all training sessions
Exposure to regular competitive matches and tournaments with other SFAs
Incorporation of sports science for improved performance and recovery
Performance analytics to aid each young footballer’s development using advanced tracking systems
Extension of skills development through combined SFAs training
