Assessment Plan

The Assessment Plan delineates how each Weighted Assessments (WA) and End-of-Year (EOY) Examination contributes to determining the students' overall results. Their progression to the next level is contingent on these cumulative results.

Secondary 1 to 3 Non-Modular Subjects

Note: WA1, WA2 and WA3 represent the WA typically in Terms 1, 2 and 3 respectively. EOY Exam is in Term 4. For Sec 1 Art, there is no WA1 component and EOY Exam is 70%.

Secondary 1 and 2 Modular Subjects in Semester 1 
(i.e., Secondary 1 Design & Technology and Secondary 2 Food and Consumer Education)

 Note: WA1 and WA2 are spread across Terms 1 and 2. Submission of Coursework is in Term 2

 Secondary 1 and 2 Modular Subjects in Semester 2 
(i.e., Secondary 1 Food and Consumer Education, and Secondary 2 Design & Technology)

Note: WA3 and WA4 are spread across Terms 3 and 4. Submission of Coursework is in Term 4.

Secondary 4 Subjects

Note: Learn and Practise (LAP) 1 and 2 are timed practices to help Sec 4 & 5 students to be familiar with the demands of their upcoming examinations. They are non-weighted assessments that will be represented in Term 1 and 2 before the Preliminary Examination.
